Garuda
The first cabin built at DKD in the early 1970s, this small stone cabin radiates a practice atmosphere. Although small and a bit dark, Tibetans love this cabin as it truly simulates a cave-like retreat. The large porch has a panoramic view of the valley. Garuda is not being used due to old age, but remains a power spot and pilgrimage site for many who have done retreats in this cabin over the decades.
